Faculty of Physics

The Faculty of Physics has started in the year 2009 with the intent to provide the best experience for the fresh minds in the field of physics. It holds responsibility for imparting knowledge and improving skill set in developing a positive attitude within the students. It has started with the program MPCS (Math’s, Physics, Computer Science) in 2009 and later (Math’s, Physics, Chemistry) was Introduced in the year 2016. It has dedicated professionals who bring expertise and passion to the study and teaching of physics. Faculty of physics play a crucial role in education, offering undergraduate program to train future physicists and scientists. These programs provide students with a strong foundation in physics principles, along with opportunities for hands-on experimentation and research. Faculty Of Physics often engage in interdisciplinary collaborations with other departments and institutions to tackle complex scientific challenges and contribute to advancements in technology, medicine, engineering concepts of Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Waves and Optics, Electromagnetism, Modern Physics, Basic electronics and many more.

Objectives

  • To Educate and train future physicists: Providing high-quality education and training programs to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and expertise in theoretical and experimental physics.
  • To Promote interdisciplinary collaboration: Facilitating partnerships with other departments, institutions, and industries to address complex scientific challenges and foster innovation.
  • To Enhance scientific literacy: Engaging in outreach activities to promote public understanding of physics and inspire interest in science among diverse audiences.
  • To Encourage innovation and creativity in laboratory-based research, and fostering a culture of experimentation and exploration among faculty and students.
