OBC CELL

The Other Backward Class (OBC) is a collective term used by the Government of India to classify castes that are socially and educationally backward classes. It is a support system for students which aims to ensure holistic development through counseling, guidance, and advocacy. The OBC cell strives to empower the students and promote their welfare.

OBJECTIVES:

• To create a platform where the staff/students can point out their problems regarding academic and non-academic matters.
• Providing guidance through counselling and organizing workshops, seminars and awareness programs to educate about rights, privileges and opportunities with regard to government and non-government schemes
